AN ORDINANCE PROMULGATING CERTAIN REQUIREMENT FOR THE ISSUANCE OF MAYOR’S PERMITS AND LICENSES TO OPERATORS/OWNERS OF TRIMOBILES, BUSINESSES, BUILDING CONSTRUCTIONS AND ALL OTHER OPERATIONS REQUIRING MAYOR’S PERMIT EXCEPT FOR THE USE OF STREETS, PLAZAS, AND PARKS, AND THE LIKE, FOR PARADE, PROCESSION, SOCIAL AND CULTURAL FUNCTIONS, SPORTS, AND/OR OTHER SIMILAR PUBLIC ACTIVITIES

Summary: This ordinance mandates that a Social Security System (SSS) Clearance is a necessary requirement for obtaining Mayor’s Permits and Licenses in Naga City. This applies to operators and owners of trimobiles, various businesses, building constructions, and all other operations or activities that require a Mayor’s Permit. Exceptions include permits for using public spaces like streets, plazas, and parks for parades, processions, social and cultural functions, sports, and similar public events. The ordinance became effective upon its approval.
