Summary: This ordinance further amends Naga City’s “Revised Sanitary Code”, updating health regulations for Guest Relations Officers (GROs) and rules for raising poultry and pigs. GROs must get biannual HIV-AIDS, RPR, and HEPA-B clearances, pay fees for health cards and weekly smear tests, wear prescribed uniforms, and cannot work if found positive for certain diseases or if pregnant. Hiring GROs without clearances is banned. Poultry houses and pigpens are now prohibited in urban barangays and strictly regulated in rural areas. The ordinance also revises penalties for violations, with updated fines and possible jail time.
