Summary: This ordinance creates the Naga City Family and Children Council, defines its members and duties, and declares January of every year as “Family & Children’s Month.” The Council, chaired by the City Mayor, will plan programs for family solidarity, coordinate with agencies, and protect family and children’s welfare. A Secretariat and Technical Working Group will assist the Council. ₱1,000,000 was allocated from the 1999 budget. The ordinance took effect upon approval.
