Summary: This ordinance mandates that all truck operators conducting business in Naga City must register their vehicles’ volumetric capacity with the City Treasurer’s Office. This capacity, calculated as the product of the inside length, width, and thickness in cubic meters , must be displayed in red paint on both sides of the vehicle. The ordinance defines a “truck” as a six-wheeler or more vehicle used for transporting materials like concrete aggregates or earthfill. Failure to comply with these requirements is prohibited and carries penalties including fines (P100.00 to P300.00 for the first offense), imprisonment (10 days to one month) and vehicle impoundment for subsequent offenses, or both at the court’s discretion. The ordinance takes effect thirty days after its approval.
