
NAGA CITY — The newly elected and first female mayor of Naga City, Mayor Maria Leonor G. Robredo, outlined in her inaugural speech the city’s development roadmap and collective vision, dubbed the “2028 Finish Lines”, during the inauguration held last June 30, 2025.
“These Finish Lines are more than just aspirations,” she said.
“They form the path to a future where every Nagueño can reach their dreams—and be proud of their contribution to our city’s course,” she underscored.
The eight major priorities highlighted in her speech include:
- An inclusive and thriving economy
- A cleaner, greener, and climate-resilient city
- Walkable, safe, and organized neighborhoods
- Healthy and educated Nagueños with decent homes by 2028
- Cultural preservation and creative growth
- An open, digital, and participatory Naga by 2028
- Naga as a center for good governance, development, and innovation
- An efficient, agile, and citizen-focused city government
