NAGA CITY – The Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), the Infrastructure and Investment arm of the Department of Tourism (DOT), is holding its Bicol Leg of the TIEZA Roadshow today at UMA Residences. This initiative brings together tourism stakeholders, local government units, MSMEs, investors, and financial institutions to strengthen the region’s tourism investment landscape.
The roadshow aims to:
- raise awareness and provide updates on tourism sector incentives available through the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (CREATE) Act;
- promote the assistance programs offered by DOT and TIEZA for tourism enterprises;
- encourage investors to register their tourism projects with TIEZA to access fiscal and non-fiscal incentives;
- offer new tourism investment opportunities across the region; and
- introduce financial institutions that provide financing facilities and loan grants to support tourism-related ventures.
This roadshow serves as a catalyst for economic growth in the region. By equipping stakeholders with updated knowledge on incentives, financing options, and investment opportunities, the activity helps accelerate the development of sustainable tourism projects that generate jobs, stimulate local economies, and enhance overall visitor experience in Bicol.

- Investment Opportunities in TIEZA – The Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) for Tourism
- Registration as a Business Enterprise and Grant of Incentives under the CREATE MORE Act
- Investment Opportunities in TIEZA Assets
- Role of the Development Bank of the Philippines in Philippine Tourism Development
- SBCorp’s Loan Programs for MSMEs
These sessions are designed to help investors and tourism enterprises fully understand how to maximize government support and navigate the opportunities available within the tourism sector.
