Resolution Respectfully Requesting the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon to Invoke the Provisions of Republic Act No. 12009 and Its Predecessor Law, Republic Act No. 9184, Regarding the Defects Liability Period and Warranty Period of Degraded Sections of the Maharlika and Andaya Highways in Order to Exact Accountability From Those Responsible for the Substandard Works

Summary: Urgently requests DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon to utilize legal protection mechanisms under the New Government Procurement Act to force contractors to repair or reimburse the cost of poorly laid asphalt and concrete pavements on heavily deteriorated regions of the Maharlika and Andaya Highways.
