RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH – BICOL, THRU DR. MELISSA T., SENA, REGIONAL DIRECTOR, TO CONDUCT A TRAINING ON THE INTERPRETATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 2025-0014, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE NATIONAL POLICY ON THE INSTITUTIONALIZATION OF DISABILITY CATEGORIZATION IN THE PHILIPPINES, WITH PARTICIPANTS FROM THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF NAGA:-
The resolution earnestly requests Dr. Melissa T. Sena, Regional Director of the Department of Health – Bicol, to conduct a training on Administrative Order No. 2025-0014, titled “National Policy on the Institutionalization of Disability Categorization in the Philippines.” The training aims to harmonize disability definitions and classifications across agencies and sectors. Designated participants include doctors from City Health Offices I & II, Our Lady of Lourdes Infirmary, and personnel from the Persons with Disability Affairs Office. The resolution emphasizes the importance of standardized disability documentation and broader access to services for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
