RESOLUTION NO. 2025-411

RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE VALIDITY OF THE EXPERIMENTAL PERIOD GRANTED TO THE AMBULANT VENDORS FOR THE UTILIZATION OF THE PORTION OF J. HERNANDEZ AVENUE DESIGNATED AS PARKING SPACES ALONGSIDE THE NAGA CITY PEOPLE’S MALL AUTHORIZED UNDER RESOLUTION NO. 2025-387, UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT AN ORDINANCE MAKING SUCH UTILIZATION PERMANENT IN CHARACTER IS APPROVED BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD

  • The resolution extends the experimental period that allows ambulant vendors to use a section of J. Hernandez Avenue for their stalls. This specific area is located in the parking spaces alongside the Naga City People’s Mall, from Prieto Street to Zamora Street, and is used by vendors from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • The original experimental period, which was authorized under Resolution No. 2025-387, ran from August 18 to August 31, 2025.
  • The Market Enterprise and Promotion Office Head, Mr. Ramon J. Florendo, reported that the experiment was a success, with minimal impact on traffic. His office recommended making the arrangement permanent.
  • Since the experimental period has expired and a new ordinance is needed to make the vendor use of the space permanent, this resolution extends the period until a new ordinance is approved and implemented.
  • The resolution was unanimously approved on September 2, 2025.
