RESOLUTION STRONGLY SUPPORTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF STA. CRUZ NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND SAN ISIDRO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE CITY OF NAGA:-

Sponsor: Hon. Gregorio R. Abonal

WHEREAS, received by the Sangguniang Panlungsod for appropriate action is the letter dated January 2, 2020 of His Honor, the City Mayor, requesting for the passage of a resolution supporting the establishment of Sta. Cruz National High School and San Isidro National High School;

WHEREAS, through its Resolution No. 10, S. 2019, the Naga City School Board approved the establishment of Sta. Cruz National High School, and granted authority to the City Mayor & Chairman of the Naga City School Board to negotiate with the landowners for the acquisition of the lot including the necessary fund for this purpose;

WHEREAS, in the Checklist of Documents per DepEd Order No. 40, S. 2014, among the required documents is a Sangguniang Panlungsod resolution supporting the establishment of school/s, duly approved by the City Mayor, indicating therein the proposed name of the school;

WHEREAS, finding this resolution to be in order and necessary in the establishment of Sta. Cruz National High School and San Isidro National High School;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Gregorio R. Abonal, seconded by Hon. Mila S.D. Raquid-Arroyo, Hon. Elmer S. Baldemoro and Hon. Jose C. Rañola;

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to strongly support the establishment of Sta. Cruz National High School and San Isidro National High School in the City of Naga.

LET COPIES of this resolution be furnished His Honor, the City Mayor for his concurrence, and the Department of Education for its information.
