Temporary Withdrawal of Magsaysay Avenue and Side Streets from Public Servitude for a Public Rally
Summary: This ordinance temporarily withdraws Magsaysay Avenue (from Peñafrancia Avenue up to the Rotunda) and a portion of its side streets from public servitude. This closure was effective from 9:00 PM of May 5, 2022, until 12:00 midnight of May 6, 2022. The purpose of this temporary closure was to accommodate a public rally organized by Solid Leni Bicol (SLB). A condition for the closure of Magsaysay Avenue was that it would only apply from the corner of Peñafrancia Avenue up to the corner of Balatas-Dayangdang Road.

AN ORDINANCE TEMPORARILY WITHDRAWING FROM PUBLIC SERVITUDE MAGSAYSAY AVENUE FROM CORNER PEÑAFRANCIA AVENUE UP TO ROTUNDA, AND PORTION OF ITS SIDE STREETS FROM 9:00 O’CLOCK IN THE EVENING OF MAY 5 UNTIL 12:00 O’CLOCK MIDNIGHT OF MAY 6, 2022 IN CONNECTION WITH THE HOLDING OF A PUBLIC RALLY OF SOLID LENI BICOL (SLB), SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITION:-
On joint and collective motion
Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Naga, that:
SECTION 1. The Magsaysay Avenue from corner Peñafrancia Avenue up to Rotunda, and portion of its side streets are hereby temporarily withdrawn from public servitude from 9:00 o’clock in the evening of May 5 until 12:00 o’clock midnight of May 6, 2022 in connection with the holding of a Public Rally of Solid Leni Bicol (SLB). PROVIDED, that the closure of portion of Magsaysay Avenue from 9:00 o’clock in the evening of May 5 shall apply only from corner Peñafrancia Avenue up to the corner of Balatas-Dayangdang Road (Pls. see herein attached Traffic Re-Routing Map as reference);
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
