ORDINANCE NO. 2020-041

AN ORDINANCE REVERTING THE AMOUNT OF NINE MILLION PESOS (P9,000,000.00) FROM WELFARE GOODS UNDER THE CITY SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE (CSWDO), AND APPROPRIATING THE SAME TO THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICES WITH PERSONNEL WHO RENDERED SERVICE DURING THE ENHANCED COMMUNITY QUARANTINE (ECQ) TO COVER THEIR HAZARD PAY AT THE RATE OF TWO HUNDRED PESOS (P200.00) PER DAY OF ACTUAL SERVICE, AND SPECIAL RISK ALLOWANCE FOR PUBLIC HEALTH WORKERS WHO CATERED TO OR WERE DIRECTLY IN CONTACT WITH COVID-19 SUSPECTED OR CONFIRMED PATIENTS AT A MAXIMUM OF 25% OF THEIR MONTHLY PAY:-

On joint and collective motion

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Naga, that:

SECTION 1. The amount of Nine Million Pesos (P9,000,000.00) is hereby reverted from Welfare Goods under the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), and appropriated the same to the various departments and offices with personnel who rendered service during the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) from March 17 to April 30, 2020 to cover their Hazard Pay at the rate of Two Hundred Pesos (P200.00) per day of actual service, and Special Risk Allowance for Public Health Workers who catered to or were directly in contact with COVID-19 suspected or confirmed patients at a maximum of 25% of their monthly pay;

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
