ORDINANCE NO. 2020-014

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF THREE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED SIXTEEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE PESOS (P3,516,225.00) UNDER THE ACCOUNT “LAND” OF THE CITY ENGINEER’S OFFICE, CHARGEABLE AGAINST THE 2019 SURPLUS, TO COVER THE PAYMENT OF JUST COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN LANDONWERS INCLUDING DOCUMENTARY STAMP TAX, IN CONNECTION WITH THE ON-GOING CONSTRUCTION OF THE ACCESS ROAD TO THE SANITARY LANDFILL IN BARANGAY SAN ISIDRO, THIS CITY:-

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Naga, that:

SECTION 1. The amount of Three Million Five Hundred Sixteen Thousand Two Hundred Twenty Five Pesos (P3,516,225.00) is hereby appropriated under the account “Land” of the City Engineer’s Office, chargeable against the 2019 Surplus to cover the payment of just compensation for the following landowners including Documentary Stamp Tax, in connection with the on-going construction of the access road to the Sanitary Landfill in Barangay San Isidro, this city, to wit:

  1. Just compensation for Mr. Napoleon Sarto — P 3,095,000.00

  2. Just compensation for the Heirs of Juan Sarto — 415,000.00

  3. Documentary Stamp Tax (capitalized to land) — 6,225.00

     TOTAL                                       P 3,516,225.00

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.

ENACTED: March 3 2020

WE HEREBY CERTIFY to the correctness of the foregoing ordinance.
