AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE GRANT OF INDEMNITY TO HOG RAISERS AFFECTED BY THE DEPOPULATION OF PIGS DUE TO AFRICAN SWINE FEVER (ASF), AND PRESCRIBING THE RATES THEREOF AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE GRANT OF INDEMNITY TO HOG RAISERS AFFECTED BY THE DEPOPULATION OF PIGS DUE TO AFRICAN SWINE FEVER (ASF), AND PRESCRIBING THE RATES THEREOF
Summary: Ordinance No. 2020-012, enacted on March 3, 2020, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Naga, authorizes the granting of indemnity to hog raisers affected by the depopulation of pigs due to African Swine Fever (ASF). The ordinance prescribes the following rates for indemnity: PHP 1,000.00 per weaned to grown-up pig, PHP 2,000.00 per suckling, and PHP 3,000.00 per pregnant pig. The ordinance was passed on a joint and collective motion. It was certified correct by Acting City Vice Mayor and Presiding Officer Joselito S.A. Del Rosario, and Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlungsod Gil A. De La Torre. City Mayor Nelson S. Legacion approved the ordinance.

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE GRANT OF INDEMNITY TO HOG RAISERS AFFECTED BY THE DEPOPULATION OF PIGS DUE TO AFRICAN SWINE FEVER (ASF), AND PRESCRIBING THE RATES THEREOF:-
On joint and collective motion
Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Naga, that:
SECTION 1. The grant of indemnity to hog raisers affected by the depopulation of pigs due to African Swine Fever (ASF) is hereby authorized, at the following rates:
P1,000.00 per weaned to grown-up pigs
P2,000.00 per suckling
P3,000.00 per pregnant pig
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
ENACTED: March 3, 2020
