Highlights

Summary: This ordinance reverts Thirty Five Million Three Hundred Eighty-Two Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-Five Pesos and Twenty-Five Centavos () to unappropriated balance. This amount is then appropriated to fund the implementation of the First Tranche of Salary Standardization Law V, including the augmentation of wages and benefits for casual personnel. Additionally, it will augment the “Other General Services” account to reflect adjustments in rates and the hiring of highly needed personnel.

On joint and collective motion

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Naga, that:

SECTION 1. – The amount of Thirty Five Million Three Hundred Eighty Two Thousand Four Hundred Thirty Five & 25/100 Pesos (P35,382,435.25) is hereby reverted to unappropriated balance, and appropriated to fund the implementation of the First Tranche of Salary Standardization Law V including the augmentation of wages and benefits of casual personnel, and fund the augmentation of Other General Services to reflect adjustments in rates and hiring of highly needed personnel, as detailed below:

1. 10% Reserves (as earmarked For SSL V in the 2020 Annual Budget P 20,172,579.00
2. Other bonuses and allowances (PBB for all offices) 14,209,856.25
3. Special Purpose Appropriation Reserved for SSL V 1,000,000.00
TOTAL P 35,382,435.25
PURPOSE OF APPROPRIATION AMOUNT
1. Personal Services P 24,662,635.25
2. Other General Services 10,719,800.00
TOTAL P 35,382,435.25

Covered by this eversion are all departments and offices of the city government per hereto attached details.

SECTION 2. This adjustment in salaries/wages shall take effect January 2020;

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.

ENACTED: February 11, 2020
