AN ORDINANCE GRANTING BARANGAY PERFORMANCE INCENTIVE TO BARANGAY AND SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OFFICIALS AT FIVE THOUSAND PESOS (P5,000.00) EACH FOR PUNONG BARANGAY, FOUR THOUSAND PESOS (P4,000.00) EACH FOR BARANGAY KAGAWAD AND SK CHAIRPERSON, THREE THOUSAND PESOS (P3,000.00) EACH FOR BARANGAY SECRETARY, BARANGAY TREASURER AND BARANGAY RECORD KEEPER, AND TWO THOUSAND PESOS (P2,000.00) EACH FOR KS KAGAWAD, SK SECRETARY AND SK TREASURER, CHARGEABLE AGAINST THE SPECIAL PURPOSE APPROPRIATION – AID TO BARANGAYS UNDER ESSENTIAL COMMUNITY SERVICES

Summary:
This ordinance authorizes a Barangay Performance Incentive to be funded from the Special Purpose Appropriation—Aid to Barangays Under Essential Community Services. Amounts granted are:

  • ₱5,000 each for Punong Barangay

  • ₱4,000 each for Barangay Kagawad and SK Chairperson

  • ₱3,000 each for Barangay Secretary, Treasurer, and Record Keeper

  • ₱2,000 each for SK Kagawad, Secretary, and Treasurer

These incentives aim to acknowledge and encourage the performance of barangay and youth council officials. The ordinance took effect upon approval.
