ORDINANCE SUMMARY :
The proposed ordinance amends Naga City’s 2000 Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance No. 2000-071) by removing night clubs, cabarets, bars, videokes, pub houses, sauna baths, and discotheques from the list of establishments eligible for a Special Use Permit. This prevents such venues from locating in unauthorized zones (such as residential areas), requiring them to operate strictly within their properly designated zones and comply with the distance, buffer, and soundproofing requirements governed by Ordinance No. 89-095.
