AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL OWNERS/MANAGERS/OPERATORS OF RESORTS WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF NAGA TO PROVIDE TRAINED AND ACCREDITED LIFE GUARD/S AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF:

AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL OWNERS/MANAGERS/OPERATORS OF RESORTS WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF NAGA TO PROVIDE TRAINED AND ACCREDITED LIFE GUARD/S AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF:-

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Naga, that:
SECTION 1. All owners/managers/operators of resorts within the territorial jurisdiction of the City of Naga are hereby required to provide trained and accredited life guard/s for public safety and for other purposes.
SECTION 2. – PENALTY. Any owner/manager/operator of resort who are found guilty of violating any provision of this ordinance shall be penalized by a fine of Five Thousand (P5,000.00) Pesos or an imprisonment of not less than One (1) year or both such fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the court.
The violator of this ordinance may opt to avail of the Administrative Fine subject to the following schedules:
| First Offense | 25% of the fine |
| Second Offense | 50% of the fine |
| Third Offense | 75% of the fine |
| Fourth Offense | 100% of the fine and cancellation of the permit to operate |
SECTION 3. -This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval and after publication in a newspaper of local circulation.
