AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 93-049, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE “TRANSPORT AND TRAFFIC CODE OF NAGA CITY” AS AMENDED BY PROVIDING FOR THE NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED PADYAK UNITS IN GIVEN AREAS OF OPERATION

Summary: This ordinance amends Section 134, Article XXVIII of Ordinance No. 93-049, also known as “The Transport and Traffic Code of Naga City.” The amendment specifically sets limits on the number of authorized padyak (pedicab) units for hire in various operational areas within Naga City.

ORDINANCE NO. 94-056

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 93-049, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE “TRANSPORT AND TRAFFIC CODE OF NAGA CITY” AS AMENDED BY PROVIDING FOR THE NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED PADYAK UNITS IN GIVEN AREAS OF OPERATION:

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Naga, that:

SECTION 1. SECTION 134, article XXVIII of Ordinance No. 93-049, lon Regulations on Padyak is hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 134. – REGISTRATION – The registration of Padyaks for Hire in any given area of operation shall be limited to such number of units as herein specified:

  1. Del Rosario — 120

  2. Villa Grande Homes — 120

  3. Villa Sorabella Subdivision — 40

  4. Concepcion Pequeña — 80

  5. City Heights Subdivision — 250

  6. Mariano Village Subd. — 35

  7. Balatas Cararayan — 130

  8. San Felipe — 35

  9. Calauag-Liboton — 130

  10. Bagumbayan Sur — 100

  11. Abella — 60

  12. Sabang — 225

  13. Naga City Subdivision — 25

  14. Igualdad — 40

TOTAL — 1,340

SECTION 2. All rules, orders, regulations, ordinances, or parts thereof inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby amended, modified and/or repealed.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval
