Summary: This ordinance, known as the “RENT CONTROL ORDINANCE” , was enacted by the City of Naga based on the “GENERAL WELFARE” clause of the Local Government Code of 1991. Its primary purpose is to limit rental increases for commercial buildings and other spaces within Naga City’s jurisdiction.
