The Naga City Solo Parents Office (NCSPO) operates under the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) to champion the welfare, rights, and holistic development of single parents and their dependents across Naga City.

Core Services & Mandates

  • Solo Parent ID Issuance & Processing: Oversees the evaluation and issuance of the official Solo Parent Identification Card, enabling registered solo parents to access benefits under Republic Act No. 11861 (Expanded Solo Parents Welfare Act).
  • Financial & Livelihood Assistance: Connects eligible solo parents to local livelihood programs, skills training, emergency financial aid, and educational assistance or scholarships for their children.
  • Psychosocial & Legal Support: Provides counseling services, community support groups, and referrals for legal assistance regarding child support and custody matters.
  • Community Advocacy & Empowerment: Coordinates with barangay-level solo parent associations to organize capacity-building workshops, wellness activities, and civic engagement programs.
Through these initiatives, the office helps single-parent families navigate financial and social challenges while fostering self-reliance and equal opportunity.
