New Chapter for Metro Naga Business Sector as MNCCI Inducts 2026 Officers

The Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) formally welcomed its newly elected officers during an investiture ceremony held on January 30, 2026, marking a new chapter in the organization’s leadership and continuing commitment to advancing the region’s business landscape.

The ceremony opened with the symbolic gavel turnover, as outgoing MNCCI President Dr. Mario Villanueva officially passed the mantle of leadership to the newly elected President, Dr. Emelita O. Menes. The transition underscored MNCCI’s tradition of continuity and collective leadership.

The inauguration proper was followed by the charging of officers led by Mr. Gilbert N. Albero, Regional Governor of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) South Luzon Area. This was succeeded by the commissioning of Dr. Menes as MNCCI President by Mr. Hoover S. Picar, Area Vice President of PCCI South Luzon, formally affirming the new leadership’s mandate.

The induction ceremony was officiated by Honorable City Mayor Maria Leonor G. Robredo, who also delivered an inspirational message emphasizing collaboration, responsible leadership, and the role of the private sector in local and regional development. Also present was the Honorable Camarines Sur Third District Representative, Congressman Nelson S. Legacion, who shared key infrastructure updates within the district, including developments along the Andaya Highway and ongoing plans for the Naga Airport.

The program then moved to the presentation and recognition of outstanding contributions, where Dr. Menes awarded Certificates of Commendation, Appreciation, and Lifetime Membership to distinguished MNCCI members in recognition of their service and commitment to the organization.

The formal proceedings concluded with closing remarks delivered by the newly elected Executive Vice President, Atty. Carlo C. Villanueva.
