Naga City, Philippines — September 10, 2025
In a landmark move toward youth empowerment and civic engagement, the Naga City Youth Officials (CYO) have officially launched KAJOVENAN, their first-ever newsletter chronicling a transformative year of leadership, legislation, and community action.
KAJOVENAN serves as a dynamic platform for the 2024 batch of Youth Officials, capturing their initiatives and achievements from June 2024 to May 2025. The publication highlights key ordinances, youth-led programs, and collaborative efforts that reflect the evolving role of young Nagueños in local governance.
Established in 1989 by the City Government of Naga, the CYO program has long been a training ground for future leaders. This inaugural newsletter marks a new chapter in its legacy—one that amplifies youth voices and documents their contributions with clarity and pride.
The newsletter was made possible through strategic partnerships with civic organizations, educational institutions, and the city government. It aims to foster a deeper sense of community, inspire civic participation, and showcase the vision and vitality of Naga’s emerging leaders.
With its launch, the Youth Officials invite the public to engage, celebrate, and support the next generation of changemakers. As the newsletter boldly declares: “We’re not just building the future—we’re leading it.”
