
NAGA CITY, CAMARINES SUR – The local startup community reaffirmed its commitment to innovation with the successful launch of FutureTech 2025: Fostering Innovation in Business, Igniting the Future of Education. Officially opened on October 9, 2025, at the Robinsons Naga Atrium, the five-day congress brought together the region’s leading innovators, educators, entrepreneurs, and technology enablers for a dynamic showcase of digital transformation and creative collaboration.
The City Government of Naga through the Investment and Tourism Promotions Office was one of the partners of the FutureTech 2025, organized by the HaKa Naga, DTI CamSur, DOST CamSur, ADNU MAGIS TBI, CSPC ASOG TBI, as part of its commitment to strengthening the local startup ecosystem through innovation.
Gracing the opening ceremony was Dir. Erin Tagudin, Director for Ecosystem Development of TikTok Shop Philippines, who delivered the keynote address highlighting the transformative power of digital platforms in empowering Filipino entrepreneurs. Her message underscored how innovation drives inclusive growth and competitiveness in a rapidly changing business landscape.
Building Strategic Linkages for Innovation and Investment
A highlight of the opening day was the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing among key stakeholders, cementing cross-sectoral collaboration between government, academe, and the private sector. This formalized alliance aims to promote a culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship across the province.

FutureTech 2025 featured three thematic segments designed to bridge innovation in business and education:
- FutureTech Exhibit (October 9 to 13, 2025) showcased products and services from local startups and ICT MSMEs, highlighting the strength of the city’s innovation landscape.
- FutureTech EDU (October 11, 2025) engaged students and educators in exploring EdTech innovations and digital learning tools, strengthening future talent pipelines. Key speakers included:
