Key Highlights of the Agenda

1. Special Business & Orders

• Hospital Consignment Program: Authorizing amendatory contracts with Zyre Pharmaceuticals Corporation and SBT Regix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. regarding medicine and supply provisions for Naga City General Hospital.

• MSME Financing: Approval for a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Land Bank of the Philippines under the LIFTING MSMEs Lending Program.

• Student Commendations: Commending local student-athletes and coaches for their performances at the 19th World Taekwondo Culture Expo in Muju County, Republic of Korea.

2. Unfinished Business

• Renaming Proposals: Reviewing endorsements to rename General Luna St. to General (Ludovico) Arejola St. and Plaza Quezon to Plaza Arejola.
• Barangay Fiscal Autonomy: A position paper from the Naga City Senior Citizens Federation, Inc. opposing the restoration/strengthening of fiscal autonomy for Naga City barangays.
• Administrative Case Documents: Processing position papers from both the complainant (Jane Petallo y Pili) and respondent (Kgd. Eugene Norman C. Ribay) for case SP-ADM-NAGA-2026-003.
• Committee Hearing Report: Joint committee report from the Committee on Youth & Sports Development and Committee on Education.

3. New Business

Peñafrancia Celebration Security: Request from NCPO Acting City Director PCol. Rizaldy L. Caballero for a resolution imposing a gun ban during Peñafrancia Celebration 2026.

• • Permit application for A&J Grand Amusement Carnival at LCC Mall Complex, Sabang.
  • Barangay Lerma Ordinance No. 2026-003 authorizing the acquisition of a multi-purpose vehicle.
  • Financial appropriation for terminal leave benefits for a former City Mayor’s Office employee.

4. Other Matters

• Health & Welfare Policy: Request from the City Health Office to defer consideration of the “Naga City Red Ribbon Commitment Ordinance”.
• Historical & Civic Notes: Notes on Philippine-Spanish Friendship Day historical accuracy submitted to NHCP.
• Official Travel & Reports: Notice of travel for Hon. Ma. Corazon M. Peñaflor to attend the Presidential State of the Nation Address (SONA), and presentation of the Q2 2026 QRRPA report by the City Assessor.
