FUNCTIONS

1. Conducts committee/public hearings on matters referred to it by the Sangguniang Panlungsod and recommends action thereon;
2. Recommends policies and programs for the protection and promotion of human rights;
3. Establishes linkages with the local and national government agencies concerned;
4. Ensures the dissemination of information and literature pertaining to human rights;
5. Performs such other functions as the Sanggunian may adopt.
