AN ORDINANCE PROMOTING AND ENHANCING SECURITY AND SAFETY IN THE CITY OF NAGA BY REQUIRING ALL STREETS, SIDEWALKS, PASSAGEWAYS AND THE LIKE TO BE PROPERLY LIGHTED.

This proposal aims to enhance public safety and security in Naga City by mandating the proper illumination of all streets, sidewalks, alleys, and neglected open spaces. It requires barangays to conduct inventories of light bulb replacement needs and identify open spaces that may serve as refuges for criminal activity. Under this ordinance, the cost of lighting materials is shared between the barangay and the City Government, with the city providing full support once barangay funds are exhausted
